The BoatSafe® Marine Engine Compartment Bilge Heater is the most extensively tested product of its kind – Since 1990 we have been protecting boaters Just Like You. We know how to help you winterize your boat. Our products provide forced-air heat through a patented All Aluminum case  to keep your engine compartment safely above freezing.

No need to worry about dangerous explosive fumes- our products meet U.S.C.G. Ignition Standards.

The BoatSafe® products are designed to control the environment within your engine compartment by maintaining a stable temperature. They successfully counter the effects of low temperatures such as corrosion, freezing or condensation that will adversely affect the components inside. The BoatSafe® heaters will provide an optimal performance environment for the critical components contained within the engine compartment. When the bilge heater’s sensor detects an ambient temperature of approximately 40º Fahrenheit (7.2ºC), it turns on and remains on until the sensor temperature reaches approximately 55º Fahrenheit (12.7ºC).

Did You Know?
Engine blocks frozen and cracked are not typically covered by insurance.

Which Heater is right for your boat?

Jr. 300

Best suited for small boats such as ski/wake boats, runabouts and deck boats up to about 21 -23 feet in length with single engine and a small tight engine compartment less than 150 Cu. Ft. or larger boats in very mild climates with just occasional freezing.

Jr. 600

With the same footprint as the Jr. 300 this work horse can handle larger engine compartments typically found on runabout boats or “pocket” cruisers, up to about 26-28 feet in length, or can be used on smaller boats in colder climates.

Max 1000

Perfect for the larger cruisers, sport fishermen, house boat or any boat with multiple engines, generator, or large engine compartment. Even larger boats, such as houseboats or cruisers, with wide beams seldom require two heaters for complete protection.
